A Sanger man was killed Tuesday when two wheels from an 18-wheeler struck the motorcyclist on Interstate 35, police said.
Brady Burger, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
Burger was headed south in the 3300 block of Interstate 35E about 1:45 p.m. when a set of dual wheels came loose from the semi’s trailer, police said. The wheels flew over the concrete divider before entering the southbound lanes of traffic, police said.
The wheels struck Burger’s motorcycle in the inside lane and a Toyota Camry in the center lane, police said.
Burger was killed by the impact, police said. The two occupants of the Camry were not injured, police said.
