Police profiling of motorcycle riders isn’t something that’s unheard of to any rider. In the U.S., we come across a lot of incidents where bikers are harassed by the police unnecessarily, just because we ride two wheels!
And if you wear colors, I don’t need to tell you how often that happens. As it turns out, this discrimination of bikers by the police isn’t just limited to U.S.
This biker bought his Harley-Davidson Fatboy in 2012. Since then, he’s apparently been stopped by the police without any reasonable cause for as many as 21 times!
So, when James Evans had had enough of this nonsense, he decided to record his latest encounter with a discriminating cop. The incident took place somewhere in Queensland (Australia).
Evans also tells us that the Police have advised him several times to not ride in his club vests! He is a member of the Misfits Social Motorcycle Club, and he says that he will always wear his vest.
The discrimination has gotten to a point that he says he can’t take his son out for a ride now.
“How do you explain to a nine-year-old that police aren’t bad but I ride a bike so they see me as being bad. He’d lose any respect he has for the police”
