Road rage is one of those things which piss us off the most. And this a$$hole seemed to have some sort of expertise in this. William Crum, 69, was recently sentenced to 15 years in prison. At his age, that may just become a life sentence!
You may be thinking that 15 years is a bit too much for one angry moment of road rage. But if you thought that, you’re mistaken. His a$$holery dates much before the incident he has been convicted for, this time. Crum had been convicted in Somervell County, as long ago as 1994. That was for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. That can’t be that bad, you may think. But it’s just not it.
After that, he was convicted in 2007, again in Somervell County. This time, he was convicted for reckless driving AND making a terroristic threat. He had apparently threatened to run over little boys with his car! Yes, that’s the demon he is. Why his driving license wasn’t revoked permanently back then itself, is beyond our comprehension.
Finally, Crum was arrested on October 19, 2015. This time for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He very deliberately swerved his car to hit a bike with 2 motorcyclists. Obviously, that caused the bike to crash. The rider only suffered minor injuries, but the pillion was hospitalized. And when confronted with the same, he had the audacity to say, “I don’t care”. He had already been in police custody since about one and a half years when he was given a 15-year prison sentence.
Well, Mr. Crum, you would care now!
